Sue Helton Loftin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024, at the age of 76, Sue Helton Loftin of Conover, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sue Helton may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Powell Helton and Pearl Woodard Helton; and her sister Brenda Lail. She is survived by: her children, Michael Loftin and Leisa Martin; and her sisters, Pat Lee of Newton, Shelia Lineberger of Terrell, Barbara Auton (Ted) of Lincolnton and Jerry Burris of Claremont.

A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church (5045 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650).
