She was predeceased by: her husband Adolphus Carl Yount Jr.; and her brother Bob Hawkins. She is survived by: her children, Todd Yount (Catherine) and Gina Perkins (Julian); and her grandchildren, Cameron Yount, Zane Perkins, Alex Yount, Grace Yount, Catie Yount and Blair Yount.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Conover.
