With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Layne Baker (Conover, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2020 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Harold Baker and Shelbie Keisler Baker of Conover; his wife Lisa Cranford Haithcock Baker; his daughter Carmen Haithcock of Arlington, VA; his brother Randy Baker (Monica) of Conover; his mother-in-law Charlotte Cranford of Conover; his siblings-in-law, Charlene Robinson of Indian Trail, Walter Cranford (Gail) of Conover and Michael Cranford (Kris); and his nieces and nephews, Danielle Baker of Conover, Rebecca Query (Brian) of Matthews, Amy Tesh of Wilmington, Derek Baker (Megan) of Newton, Dylan Baker of Taylorsville, Barry Robinson (Linnea) of Charlotte and William Atwood (Nikita) of Greensboro. He is also survived by 5 Great Nieces and Nephews.
