He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Wike and Fannie Little Wike; his brother Bobby "Bob" Wike; his sister-in-law Marcella Wike; his son-in-law Donald Bogert, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Robert and Cora Belle Carpenter; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Miller and Harley Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Carpenter Wike; his children, Kelly Wike (Peggy) of Conover and Lisa Travis (Keith) of Conover; his grandsons, Hunter Bogert and Dalton Bogert (Savannah Henline); his great grandchild Hazel Marie Bogert; and his stepgrandchildren, Maverick Foster (Genine), Alexis Travis of Raleigh and Farah Travis of Conover.
