She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Elizabeth Gantt Hahn and Clyde Robert Hahn; and her brothers, Kenneth T. Hahn and Timothy Hahn. She is survived by: her sons, Lee R. Elander III (Cara) of Hickory and Gregory R. Elander of Conover; her grandchildren, Kevin A. Elander (Sara), Sanford, Lee R. Elander IV (Ashton), Brooke Jenne (Hunter), Hope E. Talbert (Jaxon) of Lucedale, MS, Harlee R. Elander of Hernando, MS, Cole D. Elander of Hernando, MS, Ashleigh E. Elander (Brian) of Franklinton, NC, Austin N. Elander (Morgan) and Addison B. Elander of Cullowhee, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Leigha N. Wong and Jason Lee Wong; her cousin Judy Hall; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bass-Smith Funeral Home Chapel (334 2nd St NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
