She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex S. Brown and Jennie Wiles Brown; her husbands, Ben Roberts and Slade Gilleland; her grandson Dusty Roberts; and her daughters-in-law, Denice Roberts and Jan Roberts.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Roberts of Hickory and David Roberts (Jan) of Conover; her grandchildren, Michael B. Roberts, Angela Short (Jimmy) and Casey Roberts (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Abby Short, Cody Short, Liam Roberts and Eve Roberts; and her close friend Evelyn Parsons.
