It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Henry Clontz (Conover, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis K. Kiziah Clontz; and his siblings, Johnny Clontz, Richard Wilson, Kenneth Yoder, Ronald Clontz and Gladys Travis.
He is survived by: his daughter Tamara Wakefield (Doug) of Granite Falls; his grandson Trent Wakefield of Charlotte; and his siblings, Howard Clontz (Argel), Wayne Clontz (Venita), Phyllis Hines of Hickory and Francis Brittain of Hickory.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his honor to St. Peters Lutheran Church, 6175 St. Peters Church Rd., Conover, N.C. 28613.
