He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brown and Jacqueline Brown; and his sister Lisa Brown. He is survived by: his wife Judy Elmore Brown; his daughters, Michelle Turner (Jamie) of Hickory, Tanya Carpenter of Hickory, Randi Findley (Clayton) of Statesville and Laura Owenby (Randy) of Hickory; his sister Cindy Brown Smith of Statesville; his sister-in-law Kathy Whisnant (Douglas); and his grandchildren, Kevin Rogers, Terry Thompson, Brittany Thompson, Landon Flynn and Brianna Flynn. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and a honorary daughter, and numerous nieces, nephews and military friends.
