She is survived by: her daughter Candace Harrington (Mark); her grandsons, Matthew Fisher (Jenn) and Taylor Fisher; her sister Barbara Griffin; her niece Kimberly Mullis (Wendell); and her nephew Mark Griffin (Angela). She is also survived by eight great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring (Hospice) of Catawba County, NC in Peggy's name.
