It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline Spencer Eckard of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Siebert Spencer and Junie Hollar Spencer; her husband Cloyd Lee Eckard; and her siblings, Worth Spencer, Ray Spencer, Louise Sigmon and Marie Hefner.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Eckard (Greg) of Conover, Connie Love (Terry) of Hickory and Vic Eckard (Jody) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Jason Eckard, Marlee Parnell, Brady Dennis, Matthew Eckard, Rebecca Duncan, Brad Eckard and Carrie Love; and her siblings, Johnny Spencer (Bobbie) and Retta Jane Lindsay. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Quilters, Sunday School or Missions or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
