She is survived by: her husband James Franklin Houser, Jr.; her daughter Teresa Roark (Johnny); her granddaughter Alyssa Jones (Ryan); her mother-in-law Shirley Houser; her sisters-in-law, Vickie Eckard (Dennis) and Pam Wood; and her nieces and nephews, Kimberly Finney (Jonathon), Lannie Hoffman (Scott), Shannon Gates, Larry Gates, Adam Gates and Mel Hyder.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba County Republican Women's Club in Patricia's name.
