She is survived by: her husband Richard Lynn Deal Sr.; her children, Natalie Deal (Julius Powell) of Hickory, Nicole Peterson (Shannon) of Conover, Richard Deal Jr. (Tonya) of Hickory and Shannon White (Tim) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Jay Powell of Hickory, Bryce Peterson of Conover, Trey, Jessie Deal of Hickory and Lindsey White of Hickory; and her siblings, Edward Long of Granite Falls, Lin Deal of Conover, Gail Hackney of Granite Falls and Kathie Goodrum of Granite Falls. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
