With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Naia Dawn Smith of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Naia Dawn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Naia Dawn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elmer and Ruby Haywood Smith; and her great grandchild Emma Wright. She is survived by: her sons, David Wright (Tina) of Lincolnton and Michael Wright (Liz) of Cherryville; and her brother Terry Smith of Maiden.
