He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Evans and Helen Tebo Evans. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sipe Evans; his children, Michele Evans of Statesville, Nichole Mellon (Darrell) of Taylorsville and Michael Evans (Angela) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Kayla Sigmon, Dylan Hubbard, Matthew Hubbard (Kristen), Tanner Mellon (Amber), Katie Mellon, Carrie Mellon and Aaron Mellon; his great grandchildren, Mackenna Carter, Madilyn Hubbard, Zayden Hubbard and Branum Mellon; his sisters, Ruth Evans of Connelly Springs and Donna Rhinehardt (Jim) of Newton; and his brother-in-law Ray Sipe of Hickory. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
