He is survived by: his wife Barbara Strong Beard; his sons, Cameron Beard (Lauren) of Conover and Mason Beard (Hannah) of Conover; his sister Marsha Warren (William) of Lincolnton; his sisters-in-law, Susan Tucker (Keith) of Conover and Jen Strong of Hickory; his granddaughter Landry Beard; and his nieces and nephews, Stacie Warren (Zach), Lyndsie Warren, Sadie Strong, Josh Tucker (Kristi), Justin Tucker (Alli), Eli Strong, Gracyn, Elliot, Nick and Ryan.
