He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Medlin (Patsy) and Betty Jo Miller Howard (Mack); and his grandparents, Jesse, Blanche Medlin and Ella Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Francine Whitworth Medlin; his sons, Jeffrey Medlin (Teressa) of Claremont and Kevin Medlin of Claremont; his siblings, Todd Medlin (Traci) of Catawba and Patricia Deal of Newton; his grandsons, Michael, Matthew, Caleb and Randy Numerous; and his niece Ruby A. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, and Great-Nephews, Numerous Loving Cousins, Fur Baby.
