She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lester Ervin and Thelma Greene; her daughters, Janie Lynn Carver, Melissa Leigh Johnston and Linda Carolyn Johnston; and her husband James William Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Susan Adams, Tammy Renee Calloway, Michael Eugene Johnston, Jeffrey William Johnston, James William Johnston, Jr. and Jerry Junior Hamby.
