He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lee and Nellie Rose Robinson Young; and his siblings, Jerry Young and Marcenia Young. He is survived by: his wife Catreenia Baker Young; his son Marchello Young (Rochelle) of Winston Salem, NC; his stepson Johnathan Baker; his daughter Raven James (Tevin) of Winston Salem; his grandsons, Grayson Young and Gabriel James; and his siblings, Al Young (Cindy), Dennis Young (Gladys), Reggie Young (Tasha), Ronda Propst (Travis), Peza Gaither (Rick) and Amanda Young. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society in Marvin's name.
