He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jerri" Alice Hollar Griffin; his daughter Katie Griffin of Kings Mountain; his stepchildren, Michael Stewart of Mooresville and Tessa Stewart of Conover; his siblings, Milton Griffin of Hickory and Janice Hollifield of Battleground, WA; and his grandchildren, Lily Stewart, Alexander Luna, Isabel Luna and Haley Merck Numerous.
