It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Marie Van Ness Gordon of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Archie Gordon; her brothers, Bob, Bill, Tom, Ron, Don and Chuckie; and her son John Gordon.
She is survived by: her daughter Joanne Martin; her children-in-law, F. A. Martin and Jeannette Gordon; and her grandchildren, Alex Martin (Melody), McKayla Gordon LeFevre (Brad) and Anthony Gordon.
At her request, the family will not be holding a service, but instead ask that you consider doing a kind deed or work for someone who needs you or making a donation to your favorite charity in her honor.
