It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Fay Setzer of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Coyte Ernest Setzer and Isobel Yount Setzer; and his siblings, Patsy Ann Setzer and Ronnie Setzer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Campbell Setzer; his children, Dennis Alan Setzer (Jill) and Zina Setzer Burney (Jay); his sister Cheryl Kiziah (Dave); his grandchildren, Julian Cody Setzer (Amanda), Anna Catherine Burney, Mary Margaret Burney and Rebecca Lynn Burney; his great grandchildren, Finley James and Harrison Luke Setzer; and his uncle Johnny Olup. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
