She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Frank and Mildred Young Ellis; her sister Lora; her brother-in-law Joe Stafford; and her granddaughter Kayla Danielle Briggs.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel W. Briggs; her children, Sharon Bumgarner (Richard) and Eric Briggs; her nephew Tim (Edith Stafford); and her brother Larry Ellis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
