She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Clinton Benfield and Elsie Mae Brown Benfield; her husband John Cochran; and her sister Elizabeth Benfield. She is survived by: her friend Patricia Schronce; and her children, Teresa Lail (Tony), Pam Benfield and Ronnie Benfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
