He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Leroy Lail and Ethel Burris Lail. He is survived by: his wife Laura "Lynn" Mull Lail; his brother Charles Ray Lawson Lail (Barbara Ann Lail); his children, Graham "Scott" Lail (Hailey Ferrell Lail), Bradley Charles Lail (Margaret Adele Nealon) and Laura Lail Treadaway (James Olin Treadaway, Jr.); and his grandchildren, Taylor Mull Lail, Christian Manning Lail, Graham Banks Lail, Frances Cooper Lail, Ferrell Moore Lail and James Olin Treadaway III. He is also survived by three nephews.
