She was predeceased by: her parents, Quintell Cauthen and Minnie Clark Cauthen; her husband Otis J. Fox; her children, Jimmie Fox and Rebecca Fox; and her siblings, JoAnn Cauthen Hoskins and Willie James Cauthen.

She is survived by: her children, George Fox, Brenda Fox, Robert Fox (Jennifer) and Heidi Fox; her grandchildren, Anthony Deal (Wendy), Larkin and Andy Fox; and her great grandchild Lucas Deal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The lying in state was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Service (193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oxford Baptist Church Cemetery (5965 Springs Rd, Conover, NC 28613).
