He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Joe" Eugene Shook and Merle Gantt Shook; his wife Alice Sue Shook; and his siblings, Glen Shook, Joe Ray Shook, Gary "Strawberry" Shook and Mary Frances Shook Bailey.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Shook, Jr. (Lydia) of Conover and Kelly Shook (Tonya) of Newton; and his grandchildren, Aaron Shook and Savannah Shook.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Gateway Baptist Church (3105 Sandy Ford Rd, Newton, NC 28658).
