It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry James Simmons (Conover, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Jock Simmons; his sister Pam Tallent (Jim) of Newton; his siblings-in-law, Kim LeBlanc (Michael) of Raleigh and Todd Taylor (Jennifer) of Iron Station; his nieces and nephews, Carmen Houston (Bobby) of Newton, Taylor LeBlanc, Andrew Taylor, Zachary Phillips and Benjamin Phillips; his stepdaughter Jessica Cale (Jason) of Taylorsville; and his stepgrandchildren, Abigail and Christopher.
