He was predeceased by: his parents, James Keith Moretz and Lillian Barringer Moretz; his brother Dennis E. Moretz of Conover; and his son Michael D. Moretz of Great Falls, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca S. Moretz; his stepdaughter Diana S. Nicholson of Winston Salem; his sons, Richard K. Moretz of Carolina Beach and Jeffrey L. Moretz of Denver, NC.; his sisters, Lou Jean M. Liem of Ellicott City and Sylvia M. Teague (Gary) of Granite Falls; and his sister-in-law Linda L. Moretz of Conover. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
