It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kaye Deal of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Victor Long and Ruby Estelle Stroud Long; and her husband John Wayne Deal. She is survived by: her pets, Bella, Sam and Timothy; her close friends, Annemarie Blackmon, Lisa Bumgarner, Jeanne Frye and Tammy Petty; her brother Larry; her daughter Melanie Catherine Deal of Conover; and her siblings, Barry Long (Linda), Lynn (Maggie), Keith (Sandy), Charlie (Jill), Quincey and Kim Bumgarner Long (Byron). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Safe Harbor in Hickory and Humane Society of Hickory.
