It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Miller Shondelmyer of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Miller and Ailene Gilbert Frye; her daughter Melissa Shondelmyer; her sister Teresa Miller; and her granddaughter Amber Nolen.

She is survived by: her husband Ron Shondelmyer; her children, Timothy Nolen of Lincolnton, Michael Nolen (Candy) of Conover and Tammy Brigham (Rick) of Conover; her brother Kenneth Miller (Mary Lynn) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Charity Phillips, Josh Shondelmyer, Kasie DeHart, Sarah Buff, Cindy Buff, Thomas Fint, Michael Nolen Jr. and Skyler Fox; and her great grandchildren, Karale Potter, Jacob Potter, Ryan Buff, Elizabeth Brigham, Russel Hedrick, Kaitlyn Lail, Charlie Curtis, Dennis Curtis, Tatum Fint, Brantley Nolen and Aubrey Powell.
