She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Braxton Wade and Josey Pearl Cornette Wade; and her husband Robert Long. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Martin (Jack) of Trinity, NC, Barbara Smith (Scott) of Conover, Nancy (Ronald Garner), Robin Schaeffer (Cordell) of Randallman, NC. and Robert "Buck" Long, Jr. of Conover. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
