He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Miller Lytton and Alice Privette Lytton; his wife Ann Deal Lytton; his son Todd Lytton; his siblings, Bill Lytton, Donald Lytton and Linda Lytton; his uncle Marvin; and his aunt Elma Lytton.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Sigmon (Sammi) of Conover and Debbie Bumgarner of Claremont; his siblings, Tommy Lytton of Troutman, Doris Pardue of Statesville, Martha Lytton of Statesville and Mary Lytton of Graham; his grandchildren, Allie Sigmon, Kaitlin Sigmon, Jenna Bumgarner and Shanna Whitlock; his great grandchild Asher Little; and his close friend Judy Sigmon of Peter's Lutheran Church.
