She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Porter Fowler and Eva Gore Fowler; her brother Edgar Leland Fowler; and her nephews, Joe Fowler and Lucas Ervin.

She is survived by: her brother Bob Fowler of Catawba, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Tom, Mary Catherine, Annie, Sandy, Anthony, Matthew, Elizabeth, Jade, John, Linda, Luke, James, Alex, Eden, Nicholas, Leslie, Bobby, Rolen, Brookelynn, Benjamin, Makayla, Ashley and Asa.
