He was predeceased by: his parent William Smith Hester; and his brother Coy Lee Hester. He is survived by: his parent Helen Lucille Hollar Hester of Conover; his children, Scottie Lee Hester of Valdese, Ryan Paul Hester of San Francisco, CA and Kathryn Lenoir Hester of Hickory; and his brothers, Allen Hester of Mooresville and Kevin Hester of Maiden.
