He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Cash and Eunice Jones Cash; and his siblings, Pete, Carl, Marie Wray and Shirley Hale.

He is survived by: his partner True Wray of Maiden; and his children, Kevin Cash of Gastonia, Kathy Flowers (Scotty) of Bessemer City, Patti Hames of Shelby, Lisa Burleson (Shane) of Kings Mountain and Angela Cash.
