It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Herman Spencer of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Spencer and Clara McGee Spencer; his sisters, Margaret Isenhour and Jeanette Shubert; and his siblings-in-law, Iris Spencer and Johnny Shubert.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma "Dottie" Link Spencer; his sons, Dale Spencer (Rhonda) of Hickory and Michael Spencer (Joanne) of Greensboro; his brothers, Clifford Spencer of Newton and James Spencer (Jackie) of Newton; and his grandchildren, Chris Spencer, Sean Spencer, Courtney McCool, Kelly Spencer and Savannah Spencer.
