He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Russell" Smith and Edna Austin Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Preslar and Jimmy Sigmon. He is survived by: his wife Pat Sigmon Smith; and his son Todd D. Smith (Susan) of Claremont.
