He is survived by: his wife Beth Edmonson Lail; his daughter Lori Strickland (Ricky) of Conover; his stepdaughter Jenny Wilson Williams (Frank) of Conover; his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Edmonson (Barbara) of Conover and Marty Edmonson of Huntersville; his sister Susan Slater (Scott) of Old Fort, NC.; and his mother-in-law Juanita Edmonson of Conover.
