She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Hoover and Frances Turiano Hoover; and her brother Allan Hoover. She is survived by: her son Mario Montalvo (Angela) of Conover; her siblings, David Hoover (Kathy) of Wilmington and Nancy Maldonado (Wayne) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Antonio Montalvo, Alyssa Montalvo and Emmanuel Montalvo; her great grandchildren, Oaklynn Montalvo, Leilani Montalvo and Matteo Montalvo; her nephew Ramon Maldonado; and her nieces, Tina Kreinbrink and Sara Thompson.
