It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Irene (Poovey) Lail (Conover, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pikney Poovey and Lura Marlowe Poovey; her husband Wade M. Lail; and her daughter Julia King. She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Costin (Bill) and Regina Lail (Wendell); and her sister Hazel Moser (Jim). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
