She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Sain and Lula Beard Sain; her husband Jeptha James Bass Jr.; and her grandson Jeffery Allen Bass. She is survived by: her children, Rick Bass (Pat) of Concord and Angelia Bass McKinney (Jimmie Sr.) of Claremont; and her grandchildren, Lisa Knight (Daniel) of Morganton, Andy Bass (Kim) of Hickory, Justin Bass of Huntersville, Jimmie McKinney Jr. (Heather) of Catawba and Michael McKinney (Lisa) of Asheboro. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
