It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Sigmon Thornburg of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Osborne Sigmon and Etta Gabriel Sigmon. She is survived by: her husband Harold L. Thornburg; her children, Laurie T. Cashion (Michael) of Conover and Jeff Thornburg (Kim) of Conover; her grandson Lee Thornburg of Conover; her brother Mitchell Sigmon of Denver; and her pets, Snoopy, Bentley and Sully Numerous.
