With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Mae Lee Gilbert of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Glenn Junior Gilbert of Conover; her parent Lillian Thacker of Hickory; her son Kenny Lail of Conover; and her stepchildren, Terry, Scottie Gilbert of Conover, Casandra Hedrick of Claremont and Amy Smith. She is also survived by One brother and three sisters Five grandchildren.
