With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elise Sigmon Burton of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on May 19, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Boyd Russell Sigmon and Cordie Shook Sigmon. She is survived by : her husband Jerry Wayne Burton Sr.; her children, Jerry Wayne Burton Jr., Sandra Gail London (Gene) of Hickory and Kelly Louise Sigmon of Newton; her grandchildren, Melody Wallace, Russell Franklin, Alexandra Burton and Grayson Burton; and her great grandchildren, Delaryce Franklin, Liz Mary Franklin, Kaden Franklin, Christian Franklin, Lilliana Franklin, Lucas Franklin and Austin Lee Wallace.
