With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Mark Distel in Conover, North Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2024 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin and Patricia; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Gina Marie; his siblings, Denise-Marie, David and Daniel; his nieces, Ashley (Juan) and Tiffany; his great-nephew Easton; his brother-in-law Joe; and his uncles, Dale and Merle (Nancy).
