We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 96, Doris G. Hix of Conover, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Golden and Hattie Boyd Golden; her husband Hurl Edgar Hix; and her siblings, James B. Golden and Irene G. Everett.

She is survived by: her niece Peggy Everett Byrd (Paul Byrd) of Hickory; her sons, Dan Hix of Atlanta and Alan Hix of Miami; her daughter-in-law Glenda Hix of Peachtree City; and her grandchildren, Daniel Hix, Walter Hix, Harmony Sage, Cory Hix and Hailey Hix. She is also survived by her husband, two sons, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
