She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry M. Arndt and Grace Yoder Arndt; her husband Hugh Setzer; and her brother Jack Arndt. She is survived by: her children, Carole Hovland (Dan), Philip Setzer (Marjorie), Lee Setzer (Gina) and Lynn Brittain (Perry); her grandchildren, Jessie Hamrick, Katie Rink, Laura Morris (Jeremy), Andrew Setzer and Erin; and her sister-in-law Susie Arndt.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Carolina Caring 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658 or First Methodist Youth Fund, 410 First Avenue North, Conover, NC 28613.
