He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Sylvester Summerow and Lucy Nichols Summerow; and his brother Paul Summerow. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cornett Summerow; his daughter Suzanne Storie (Jarett) of Granite Falls; his stepchildren, John Burchette, Tony Burchette (Megan), Reba Keller, Kim Younce (Doug), Ray Burchette, Allan Burchette (Kristi), Debi Sipe and Kay Miller (Greg); his siblings, Clifford Summerow (Donna) of Lenoir, Roger Summerow (Judy) of Lenoir, Gerald Summerow (Barbara), Larry Summerow of Lenoir and Janet Triplett of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Rebecca Jones (Nic), Matthew Storie (Trinity) and Adam Storie (Stacey); and his great grandchild Leah Storie (Numerous).
