It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Lee Huffman of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Lee Huffman and Hazel Keller Huffman; and his wife Laura Regina Scism Rhodes. He is survived by : his siblings, Jimmy Huffman of Holly Ridge, NC., Ann Huffman of Hickory, Rachel Propst of Hickory, Tammy Troutman of Conover and Debbie Altizer of Hickory; and his in-laws, Tim Call of Granite Falls, Carroll Call of Newton and Tammy Stanley of Newton.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Catawba Baptist Church (102 1st St NW, Catawba, NC 28609). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
