We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2022, at the age of 83, Clara Janssen Maddox of Conover, North Carolina, born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannes W. Janssen and Elizabeth Cooper Janssen; her siblings, Charles Janssen, Lillian Bruce Janssen and Leslie Jeanne Janssen; and her half-brother Jan Walter Janssen.

She is survived by: her children, Patrick Maddox (Sara), James Maddox (Marylyn), Robert Taylor (Laura) and Suzanne Maddox White (Rex); and her grandchildren, Josh, Ian Maddox, Meredith, Mackenzie Maddox, Ashley, Cassie, Zach Taylor and Janssen White. She is also survived by great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
